Re-Thinking the Reasons for Faith Based Travel

I often wonder how we can encourage others and ourselves to spend money traveling the world to explore religious sites and mysteries, while at home our nation's traditional Jeudeo-Christian values are falling apart as chaos ensues from recent political decisions and while social justice issues are calling for our attention and for our well spent dollars to fight evil.

Lest we lose site of the reasons for and meaning of Faith Based Travel and turn Our Father's house into a den of thieves and money changers solely for the cause of profit and pleasure, let's remember what our Judeo-Christian and Muslim values teach us regarding the sanctity of human life and social justice issues.
