The First WORLD RELIGIOUS TRAVEL EXPO & EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE (2008) on Planet Earth! - by Rita Sawaya - (GTRTRG Featured Group - Creator)

We are on the verge of a pristine global premiere event: the long awaited World Religious Travel Expo 2008!
On this very important global event, I wish to extend my gratitude to Mr. Kevin Wright - Founder of the WRTA - SN for creating this Global Religious Travel Association Social Network, prior to starting this discussion, wishing Mr. Wright and his organizing team, as well as all the participants a very successful experience.

I invite you to participate actively in the current i-round-table discussion: "World Religious Travel Expo & Educational Conference - 2008" by engaging in this discussion, starting your own discussions, and by reflecting on the following suggested questions that you can take part in, in the WRTA featured group GTRTRG (upon your request to join):

Below are a few questions I presently wish to share with you as WRTA-SN members/2008 World Religious Travel Expo & Educational Conference participants, in the hope of benefiting faith-based tourism and travel as well as host destinations world-wide, whilst promoting sustainably-responsible tourism globally for our contemporary generations to enjoy and for prosperity to fully celebrate:

1. What are your expectations of the Expo/Conference 2008? Why?

2. How do you find the program? Why? & What would you suggest adding, changing (& how?) or removing from the aforementioned Expo program content and/structure? How do will your suggestions be beneficial to you as an individual?/as a travel agent/agency?/ as etc.?

3. If you are not able to attend and are interested in participating and/or receiving event updates and details during and after the Expo/Conference: How would you like to participate and/or receive updates/results? (e.g. Virtual real-time interactive e-participation; inactive real-time e-viewing; receiving daily/hourly/... reports on events; etc.)

4. To what extent do you find the Expo/Conference 2008 in all its aspects: logistics etc. "environmentally friendly" in principle and, (later) in practice (your personal experience)?

In descending order: What aspects/elements/parts/etc. of the Expo/Conference program are closest to the "0-Environmental Footprint", i.e. the "greenest"?

5. What do you suggest (practical solutions) in terms of organizing future WRT Expos & Conferences that will leave a minimal environmental footprint?

6. What can you do in order for your participation be simultaneously most efficient for your enterprise/ for you as an individual traveler/ as an foundation/ an a religious institution/... and for the global (cultural, natural heritage)?

All other questions, discussions and suggestions are welcome! You are cordially invited to join and actively participate in our featured WRTA-SN exciting round-table discussion forum at GTRTRG.

Enjoy the discussion(s)!

Rita:
Thanks for your questions and requests for suggestion.
I am sorry to be unable to attend personally.
However, I believe many members, in the same situation and having an Internet connection would enjoy having a daily highlights review for each day of the Expo, for downloading and sharing in their local communities, so as to increase the WRTA Social Network through WOM (Word-of-Mouth).
Have a Great EXPO 2008!
